How Our 3-Tier Inspection System Reduces Procurement Risk
“Our technical guide to the Three-Tier Quality Gate system designed to eliminate defects from Chinese mill sourcing before cargo loading, covering materials testing and ISO certifications.”
1. Tier 1: Pre-Production Verification
Before any production line starts, our inspectors verify the raw material certificates, factory calibration records, and ISO management system validity. This stage catches specification mismatches before steel is cut, concrete is mixed, or polymers are extruded. In 2025 alone, Tier 1 inspections prevented 14 specification violations across our client portfolio.
2. Tier 2: In-Process Random Sampling
During production, our resident inspectors conduct unannounced spot checks using AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) sampling standards. Products are measured against the approved samples and technical data sheets. Any deviation beyond the acceptable tolerance triggers a full production halt and root cause analysis before resumption.
3. Tier 3: Pre-Shipment Container Inspection
Before container sealing, a complete inspection of the finished goods is conducted, including packaging integrity, quantity verification, and loading supervision. Photo documentation of every container is archived for client reference. Only after Tier 3 sign-off does the container leave the factory premises.
